JPF would like to announce our September general meeting, which takes place at Windsor Tavern, 7 PM, on Thursday, September 15. We recognize the unfortunate coincidence of the date of our general meeting this month and the Beaubien school open house. Our final agenda is here and the changes are below (see Update).

On behalf of the Jefferson Park Forward Fundraising & Services Committee, I would like to introduce our upcoming general meeting speaker, Gayle Nelson from Hands to Help Ministries. Gayle will be discussing how a small group of dedicated neighbors can create essential services to build a stronger community and ways we can support those who are experiencing homelessness. I am really excited to hear this presentation and hope you will all join us this upcoming Thursday at The Windsor Tavern.

The office of U.S. Representative Mike Quigley (IL 5th Congressional District) reached out to JPF asking to introduce the Congressman to our group. JPF is happy to oblige and honored to welcome the Congressman to our meeting.
